Entrepreneurship at SeAMK — built into your degree

At SeAMK, entrepreneurship is part of every programme. In your first term you’ll take a 5 ECTS Entrepreneurship & Innovation module that gives you the essentials for turning ideas into real value. After that, each degree adds entrepreneurship-focused courses and projects, so you’ll practice entrepreneurial thinking in labs, client briefs and multidisciplinary teams.

Y-Zone is your launchpad: get coaching, workshops, competitions, expert mentoring, and even start a venture alongside your studies. Through the Y-Zone Business Hub, you can align coursework, your thesis or internship with your own company and earn ECTS.

International students are welcome—services are available in English and many can be done online. If you run into Finnish-only material, we’ll help you navigate it.
